Ecuadorian Gay Equestrian Andes Tour
Those that love and work with horses are truly unique individuals. Once you gain experience riding, and enjoy working with and being around these lovely animals, your life is never the same again. We’re lucky to enjoy horses, and yes---we might even have a sugar cube or two in the pockets of our blue jean jacket to offer them as treats!
As an experienced rider, you know how to hold a carrot and how to lay a sugar cube flat on your hand, and you’re not worried about being bitten by a horse. Let the horse “nuzzle” you for the treat…you’re quite comfortable with the affection shown by these magnificent animals.
Horses are beautiful animals that have been in and around man for thousands of years. We used them first for work and transport, and now---for our enjoyment and education. EcuadorTraveler.com is pleased to present the true Ecuadorian Equestrian Extravaganza—an experience you’ll never, ever forget.
This tour is a special tour offering Gay and Lesbian travelers an especially rewarding trip--and requires special clients—you to come along with us! It’s a special trip for couples to develop long term relationships while being outdoors, together, in the beautiful Andes…a trip that you will always remember.
You’re not planning on riding deep into the Andes and staying in a five star hotel, either. You have your own boots. You may want to bring your own saddle, because it’s broken in and you can ride days in your own saddle. Tell us what we can do to help you achieve your dream! You understand that riding all day on a horse can leave you tired, sore, and with muscle aches—but that’s ok, because you love riding your horse—even getting to know a different horse on this trip—and being one with such a beautiful and powerful animal while sharing special times with good friends.
You’re a true equestrian. Or, if you’re from the country, we’d call you a cowboy.
It’s your choice, pardner.
Our tour leads you through the heart of the Ecuadorian Andes—in many cases, showing you unexplored and unseen beauty and majesty. The most amazing scenery will change from day-to-day as nature makes her chronological changes to the Earth.
You’ll tour multiple microclimates on this tour, depending on time of year and exact routing. You have the chance to encounter and enjoy lush, green, cloud forests as well as arid, desert-like landscapes; the deepest of deep river canyons and steepest of steep mountain slopes; sunny valleys with the sun beaming down on you and your horse; picturesque, pastoral farmlands teeming with bucolic livestock and washed by just a cool hint of a breeze-- and silent crater lakes, as silent as the grave. Work up a sweat as you gallop through the flatlands and feel the power of your horse as it climbs the steepest terrain. This is nature at her finest, and you not only communicate with nature, but fill your soul with the strength and beauty of the ride and the friendships and affection of friends. Your horse can sense your awe---and you become one with nature.
Due to the remoteness of the area, overnight stops are basic, carefully chosen, cozy and nice. There may be bunkhouses—and this will be your opportunity to tell a true story of your experience of bunkhouse living—sitting around the campfire, telling and hearing stories of life and living. Forget the big screen TV and the cellular telephone. You’re in touch with yourself and the land.
Connect with the hidden Ecuador--its people and lifestyle--while enjoying the ride of a lifetime.
